According to a news report, a Catholic School was recently faced with a unique problem. A number of 12-year-old girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine, as it was a neutral skin tone, but after they put on their lipstick they would press their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints.
Every night the maintenance man would remove them and the next day the girls would put them back.
Finally the principal, Sister Paschal, decided that something had to be done. She called several girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the custodian who had to clean the mirrors every night, you can just imagine the yawns from the little princesses.
To demonstrate how difficult it had been to clean the mirrors, Sister Paschal asked the maintenance man to show the girls how much effort was required to clean the mirrors.
He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, and cleaned the mirror with it.
Since then, there have been no lip prints on the mirror.
There are teachers.... and then there are educators!
Hahaha nice and who knew the Catholic schools could provide such intersting tales?
Yeah right? I saw this on a friend's page on Facebook and simply had to pass it along. That's one way to teach those girls! haha
Oh, wow... I'm not gonna lie, that took reading it twice, but I got it! And yeah, that's definitely a way to teach those girls a lesson...
hehe.
Good for the school! Personally I would even be for not wearing makeup as part of the dress code for Catholic schools...after all one I think in New Jersey was adamant about a boy student not wearing his hair long, even to donate it to Locks of Love...but this show of backbone rocks! If you're going to wear it, at least don't make a mess for someone else to clean up with it.
Exactly
LMAO! That's... Inventive.
I'm not sure if this story is real or actually written as a joke, but I'm leaning towards the latter. In any case, I agree that makeup should be forbidden in schools, whether Catholic or public as should name brand things, short skirts etc. It's school not a modeling contest!
I don't think anything should be banned in schools, at least not anything of the clothing or appearance sort. That's just idiotic. To tell lucy she can't wear a shirt so that susy doesn't feel bad, is idiotic. Tell susy to get the hell over herself, and that'll solve the problem.
Lol nice!! :) lol!
